Standing Liturgical Commission

Movers Bishop of Adelaide

That a Standing Liturgical Commission of not more than ten persons (bishops, priests and laymen) be appointed

(a) to carry on the work of draft revision of the Book of Common Prayer;
(b) to serve as an advisory body within the Church;
(c) to bring to General Synod recommendations concerning Prayer Book revision and other liturgical matters;
(d) to consult with other churches

and that the members of the Commission be chosen by the diocesan bishops who may from time o time fill any vacancies which may occur in the Commission between sessions of General Synod.
