Movers Bishop of Gippsland

That this Synod takes cognizance of the fact that, the World Council of Churches Commission on World Mission and Evangelism has indicated to the Australian Council of Churches and to the member Churches of the same, its desire to hold its next major consultation on World Mission and Evangelism to take place in 1980 in Australia. It requests the Standing Committee to note the financial implications of holding the Consultation and with the aid of the Missionary and Ecumenical Council to consider the ways in which this Church may be most significantly involved in this event.
