That in view of the minimal and very conservative nature of the revision of the Catechism incorporated in the draft of “An Australian Prayer Book”, this General Synod requests the Liturgical Commission and the Doctrine Commission to co-operate in the preparation of a revised form of the Catechism at the earliest possible date, and in its publication for trial use, for evaluation and report, and for submission to the next session of General Synod for ratification and authorization.
