This Synod affirms the place of older Australians in our nation, commends Church agencies which provide services for the aged, and encourages governments to make more adequate social security and support provisions for the aged. Synod commends for study by church people the forthcoming publication of the Social Responsibilities Commission entitled Too Old to Choose?.
