Noting the motion from the Defence Force Board and the Bishop to the Defence Force and acknowledging and affirming the ministry of the Defence Force chaplains; this General Synod requests Standing Committee to write to all Dioceses to encourage clergy on the occasion of conducting funerals for returned service men and women to donate in full or part the clergy offering to the Amos Foundation to support the Bishop to the Defence Force and Defence Force chaplains.
