That General Synod requests the Standing Committee to explore ways in which the laws of the States and Territories could be amended to confer –

i) on the Anglican Church of Australia Trust Corporation in respect of property in a State or Territory vested in
that Corporation for the purposes of this Church powers similar to those conferred under the laws of that State or Territory on the Corporate trustees for a Diocese in respect of property held for the purposes of this Church in the Diocese; and

ii) On General Synod and the Standing Committee, in respect of such property powers similar to those conferred
under the laws of the State or Territory on the Synod and Standing Committee, respectively, of a Diocese in respect of property held for the purposes of this Church in the Diocese.

iii) That the Standing Committee be requested to report on this matter to the next Session of General Synod.
