Anglican-Lutheran Agreed Statement on Baptism

That this General Synod:

(i) receives the Anglican-Lutheran Agreed Statement on Baptism, with thanks to God for our ‘one Baptism for
the forgiveness of sins’;

(ii) recognises that the Baptism of the Anglican and the Lutheran Churches confers the same benefits upon
those baptised;

(iii) approves the investigation of the provision of a common Baptismal Certificate;

(iv) refers this motion and the Agreed Statement to the Doctrine Commission for consideration.
