Movers Bishop of Canberra and Goulburn

That General Synod expresses to the Australian Government general support for the policy towar4ds refugees enunciated in May by the Minister for Immigration and Ethnic Affairs, outlined in the report of the International Affairs Commission, urges generous application of the principles set forth by the Minister, and pledges such assistance as this Church can give towards the incorporation of refugees into Australian society.
