Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion - Working Group

That this General Synod through its Standing Committee:

i) establish a working group, in liaison with the relevant bodies of the national Church, to identify and evaluate
the pastoral, evangelistic and ecclesial opportunities and problems of current practices, official and unofficial, or baptism, confirmation and first Communion among Australian Anglicans;

and

ii) request a report from the working group by the end of 1987 to promote discussion among member dioceses
and churches of the issues it raises.
