That General Synod, aware of the Standing Committee’s responsibilities under Rule II, Section 5, to formulate the General Budget of the General Synod and to make assessments upon the Dioceses, requests Standing Committee for the year 1978 and onwards:

(a) to prepare budgets annually rather than four-yearly as at present;
(b) to make allowance for inflation in each annual budget, and
(c) to provide a further sum of not less than $10,000 in each annual budget to fund the cost of the succeeding
session of General Synod (i.e. In 1981).
