Californian Fires

That this Synod, noting the devastation of the fires in California, the loss of life and property:
a) prays for God’s compassion and mercy on the State of California, and for the endeavours o f those engaged in rescue and recovery work; and
b) respectfully requests the Primate sends a message of support and encouragement from this Synod to the Bishops of the affected areas, assuring them of our continuing prayers, especially for ministries provided to those who are caught up in this disaster.
