Christmas Bowl Appeal

That this General Synod:

1. Recognises that for the last forty years the Australian Council of Churches has organised the Christmas Bowl
Appeal on behalf of the Anglican Church of Australia and the other member churches of the A.C.C.;

2. Acknowledges with gratitude the success of the appeal, noting that more than $53,000,000 has been raised
to date with more than half of that amount being contributed to the appeal in the last ten years;

3. Affirms its continuing support for the Christmas Bowl;

4. Requests each Diocese to explore all possible ways of increasing support for the Christmas Bowl.
