Commission on Doctrine

Movers Archbishop of Brisbane

That this Synod notes with pleasure the work done by the Commission on Doctrine since the last meeting of General Synod and expresses its gratitude for the report. It requests the Primate, in consultation with the Standing Committee, to reappoint the Commission and to request it,

(i) to continue to study all matters of Christian Doctrine referred to it by General Synod, the Bishops or other
bodies;
(ii) to serve as a consultant body to the Liturgical Commission and other similar Commissions and Committees
of the Church of England in Australia.
