Committee on Theological Education

Movers Arnott, F.R.

This Synod receives the report of the Committee on Theological Education, comments its findings to the study of the church in Australia, and asks Standing Committee to re-appoint a committee to continue investigations and

(i) to report its findings regularly to the Diocesan Bishops, the Australian College of Theology, heads of
Theological Colleges, the General Board of Religious Education, and the Standing Committee together with its recommendations for implementing the development of theological education, and

(ii) to report to the next and subsequent sessions of General Synod on action taken, and, if necessary, to
present any resolution or bill for a canon further to implement its recommendations.
