Full-time General Secretary

That this Synod recognises the need for a full-time Secretary to the Standing Committee of General Synod with such duties and responsibilities as the Primate and the Standing Committee may determine, with the title of General Secretary; and that this Synod accepts responsibility for the payment of salary, accommodation and allowances of such an officer and directs the Standing Committee to determine and make provision for same.
