Gap between rich and poor nations

In view of the World Bank report for 1980 which notes that the gap between rich and poor nations is still increasing and that the World Bank predicts that the gap will increase considerably in the 1980s, in view of the continuing serious lack of balance in the development of countries, and in view of the need for a just use and distribution of resources about the world, the General Synod asks every diocese to encourage the study and subsequent action upon those issues in the parishes.
