That General Synod, having received the report of the Social Responsibilities Commission and noting the issues raised by the book ‘Making Babies: The Test Tube and Christian Ethics’ published at the request of the Commission, expresses its unqualified opposition to any form of live human embryo research for any purpose. Copies of this resolution to be forwarded to the Federal and all State Attorneys-General.
