That this General Synod requests the Missionary and Ecumenical Council to suggest ways of stimulating the further growth of ecumenical life and action at the local level of the Church and in particular to study, assess and promote, if considered desirable, the formation of “Local Ecumenical Agreements” as a practical and positive step in that direction.
