That this General Synod encourages:

a) the clergy and people of the Anglican Church of Australia to consider how they will respond and affirm the MDGs through their Christian stewardship by their financial support for the international development agencies commended to Dioceses as a way of fulfilling MDG imperatives: and

b) the clergy and people of the Anglican Church of Australia to advocate the policies affirmed by this resolution through their involvement in the Make Poverty History and Micah Challenge campaigns, giving expression to their faith and commitment to overcoming poverty and injustice.
