That this Synod commends the report of the Missionary and Ecumenical Council to the attention of the Australian Church.

(It was resolved on the motion of the Bishop of Newcastle that Standing Orders be suspended to enable the Reverend G.B. Muston of the Bush Church Aid Society to be seated on the floor of Synod during the motion concerning the Missionary and Ecumenical Council Report).
