Mr A.G. James, B.E.M. - appreciation

That this Synod place on record its deep appreciation of the service of Mr Allen G. James, B.E.M., as a member of the General Synod, Standing Committee, and as Treasurer of this Church.

Mr James brought to the national affairs of this Church a life-time experience as a professional accountant. He has for almost fifty years been deeply involved in the financial affairs of the Church at parish, diocesan and national level. He brought wisdom and sound common sense to bear on Church affairs born from a deep concern for those called to full-time work in this Church.

This General Synod thanks him for his service as Treasurer of this Church since 1981.
