That this Synod, in view of moves currently being undertaken to broaden membership of bodies such as the Australian Council of Churches through a process of restructuring, and in response to the recommendation of the Missionary and Ecumenical Commission, resolves to give full support to those current proposals for the reform of national ecumenical structures which are intended to provide for further representation of major ecclesial bodies.
