Notification of other Churches concerning steps toward the ordination of women

That other Christian Churches in Australia, particularly the Roman Catholic Church, the Orthodox Churches, the Lutheran Church of Australia, and The Uniting Church in Australia, be informed of the decisions of this Synod with regard to the admission of women to Holy Orders, and that the Primate, in consultation with the Standing Committee, be requested to:-

(a) appoint, if he deem it appropriate, representatives of this Church to explore with representatives of those
Churches the implications of these decisions, and

(b) appoint a member of this Church as an representative at any international consideration of the admission of
women to Holy Orders arranged by the Anglican Consultative Council.
