Re-appointment of the Doctrine Commission

That this Synod expresses its appreciation of the report of the Commission on Doctrine, recognises the amount of research that has been necessary and is thankful for the help that the Commission has given to the Standing Committee of this Synod and other agencies of this Church.

Synod further requests the Primate, in consultation with the Standing Committee, to re-appoint the Commission on Doctrine for the purposes:-

(a) to continue to report its findings on matters of Christian Doctrine referred to it by the Synod, the House of
Bishops, or other agencies of the church;

(b) to serve generally as a consultant body especially for other commissions.
