That the bill for a canon concerning authorised lay ministers and also the bill for a canon concerning relinquishment of orders (both proposed by Bishop J.A. Grant) be referred to the bishop and bishop-in-council of each diocese with a request that each bill be reviewed, that comments be passed on to the Board of Ministry and Training and that the bills in the present form or in a reviewed form, with all such comments and advice from the Board thereon be brought before the next ordinary session of the General Synod.
