Refugees from the Middle East

In light of the particularly difficult circumstances facing Christian refugees in and from Iraq, this Synod welcomes the decision by the Australian Government to increase the number of refugees from the Middle East being accepted into Australia under the humanitarian and refugee programme for 2O07-2008.
