Relocation of General Synod Office to Canberra

That the General Synod adopts the principle that the General Synod Office should be located in Canberra by 1990 or as soon as practicable thereafter (even if it is not possible to locate the Primate there by that date), and that the Standing Committee be authorised to take the steps necessary to give effect to this principle, provided that the actual relocation should not occur until endorsed by the next meeting of General Synod.
