Report of sixth meeting of the Anglican Consultative Council

That General Synod, having received the report of the Sixth meeting of the Anglican Consultative Council published under the title “Bonds of Affection”:

i) commends it to dioceses for study;

ii) notes in particular the quotation of the MISAG report to ACC6 “Emphasis in all aspects of the church’s life
tends to be placed on care and nurture rather than proclamation and service”; and

iii) asks every diocese and parish to examine its priorities to ensure a proper balance between care and nurture,
and proclamation and service.
