Suspension of Standing Orders - Bills and Canons

That the Standing Orders be suspended to the extent necessary to ensure that (a) any decision duly and properly made by the Synod or any house, committee or representatives thereof in relation to a bill for a canon to amend the Constitution shall be deemed to be the same decision by the same persons and with the same effect in relation to the bill to amend the Constitution which is cognate with the former bill and any such decision in relation to the latter bill shall have the same effect in relation to the former bill and (b) a decision in relation to both bills may be made by the Synod or any house committee or representatives thereof on a single motion relating to both bills.
