The Lord's Prayer at Sessions of Federal Parliament

Movers Bryson, A.M.

That this Synod expresses the hope that Federal Parliament will continue the practice of opening its proceedings with the use of the Lord’s Prayer. Synod believes that this practice, in expressing the nation’s recognition of, and dependence on, Almighty God is of value both in our own day and for the future of the Commonwealth.

Synod further asks Standing Committee to convey this view to the Prime Minister.
