That this Synod commends the section in the Report of the Commission on Doctrine entitled ‘The Ministry of Women’ to the Church in Australia for further study, and requests the Commission on Doctrine to continue its study of the ministry of women, giving particular attention to the contemporary situation, and the character of the congregation and its relationship to the home and the character of the ministries in the home and in the congregation, and in consultation with the Commission on Ministry, to prepare recommendations for next General Synod.
