That this Synod notes with gratitude the enormous contribution that The Reverend Dr Charles Sherlock has made to The Anglican Church of Australia over many years through his membership of the Liturgy Commission, particularly for his work on the preparation of A Prayer Book for Australia and ongoing role as Executive Secretary of the Commission, all exercised with unfailing good humour, wisdom, theological astuteness and an excellent grasp of the history of the Anglican tradition.
