Standing Committee report 2022

The Standing Committee Report to General Synod includes information on the membership and key activities of the General Synod Standing Committee since the Seventeenth Session of General Synod in 2017.

It provides information on the work undertaken by the Standing Committee to implement the resolutions of the Seventeenth Session of General Synod and a summary of its business between November 2017 and March 2022.

Reports are provided on the activities of General Synod bodies including the Anglican Church of Australia Trust Corporation and the General Synod Tribunals.

The Standing Committee reports on the status of General Synod legislation and its obligations to report to General Synod arising from provisions of the Financial Protection Canon, the National Register Canon and the Safe Ministry to Children Canon.

This book includes a list of the members of the Eighteenth Session of General Synod and the program for the Eighteenth Session of General Synod as approved by the Standing Committee.
